Lake Lednica

The lake surrounding the island of the first Piasts – you pass it walking from the station.

A ribbon lake whose shores hold one of the densest concentrations of archaeological sites in Poland.

Walking from the station you have it beside you and see the island from the shore before boarding the ferry. Marked walking and cycling routes run through the area.

How to get there without a car

train to Lednogóra approx. 18 min + walk

The same route as Ostrów Lednicki – train to Lednogóra, then the walk towards the reserve.

You pass the shore on the way, so it needs no separate trip. Open country, so bring water in the heat.
