The route links places connected with the beginnings of the Polish state. Gniezno is its natural centre and the only point where you stay in the town centre with the station within walking distance.
By rail: Poznań with Ostrów Tumski (40 minutes), Lednogóra with Ostrów Lednicki and the Dziekanowice open-air museum (18 minutes plus a walk), Trzemeszno (20 minutes), Czerniejewo (a little over ten). A three-day programme.
Biskupin, Wenecja and Żnin are served only by the Żnin County Railway starting in Żnin, and no passenger train from Gniezno reaches Żnin. Kruszwica and the ZOO Safari at Rogowo also need a car.
