Church of St John the Baptist

A 14th-century Gothic church with surviving frescoes, at the foot of Lech Hill.

One of the oldest churches in Gniezno, a former hospital church of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre. It keeps its austere Gothic character.

The most valuable feature is the set of medieval wall paintings in the chancel – an ensemble of a kind not common in Greater Poland.
