Gniezno Narrow-Gauge Railway

A 750 mm narrow-gauge railway with its station by the main one. Seasonal, on a shortened route.

Once an extensive network reaching Anastazewo – almost forty kilometres of track through the fields and forests of Greater Poland. Today a shadow of that layout.

Regular traffic closed in 2015 because of the state of the track. Since 2019 weekend services return in the summer holidays on a short section towards Las Jelonek. The Ostrowo – Anastazewo section has not been served since 2011. We say so plainly, because guidebooks still list it as operational.

Worth knowing

  • Station by the main railway station
  • 750 mm gauge
  • Weekends in July and August
  • Only the Las Jelonek section
  • ⚠️ Confirm the timetable first
